Dr. Ariel Palanca is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon with a decade of experience dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care. After graduating with honors from University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Palanca completed a rigorous residency program at Stanford University Medical Center, followed by a specialized fellowship in Foot and Ankle with Dr Roger Mann in Oakland, California and Trauma surgery at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia.

Dr. Palanca specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including bunion repair, ankle arthroplasty, ankle arthroscopy, Achilles tendon repair, ligamentous injuries, fracture care, and deformity correction.

Personal Background

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Palanca is now happy to call San Diego home. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Palanca enjoys traveling the world, endurance sports like running and biking, getting outdoors with her puppy Brewce, and spending time with family and friends

In addition to her main practice, Dr. Palanca participates in global humanitarian aid annually around the world.
